I saw the Light. I travelled towards it automatically, and found myself in a beautiful field of golden grasses. I noticed about five or six people looking at me and waiting for me, and realized later that these were in fact deceased relatives from Scotland. I was shown a magnificent gold colored city where universities of learning were operating. I felt a powerful being, God like, at my immediate side. It felt like I spent an hour or so there but was only gone, dead, for eight minutes on Earth. I was told to go back, do important work, and use my previously wasted life to do good for others. I felt a hard return to my body. Recovery was slow at first, but I became well after two months and then set about doing amazing things with my life. I have made it my life's work to inform all others I meet about my NDE and do only good deeds for all. I have advised everyone that I am not to be resuscitated next time, as I really want to return to that place.

After returning I made huge life changes and achieved amazing results, e.g. only eighteen months after learning to play guitar I toured with a famous Aussie band performing overseas, including the US. I had never played before that time. Also, I started a charity to raise money for homeless teens in Melbourne - I ran over 3000 km and raised two million dollars, meeting the Prime Minister and State Premiers along the way. I took up football and played for South Melbourne, now Sydney Swans. These are just a few of my achievements after my NDE/OBE.
Are there any other questions that we could ask to help you communicate your experience? You could ask how long, if applicable, the person was dead before resuscitation. I was dead for eight minutes when unloaded from the ambulance, and the doctor at Emergency misheard the paramedic as to how long I had been clinically dead, so the Doctors brought me back. At the time, I was the longest dead person brought back to life in Australian medical history. If the doctors had known I was already gone eight minutes they would not have even tried.
