Experience Description

I was at my grandma's house watching TV and then, the next thing I know, I was back home in Virginia but with relatives who had passed away and with some who were still alive. I didn't see a bright light or a tunnel. I felt nothing but just an amazing love. I've slowly lost some details over time, but I also saw some weird-looking men who were not human and they were watching us.

I woke up in the hospital and was told my heart stopped and I had died for over 4 minutes. Yet to me, my time out of my body seemed like forever.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

Did you feel separated from your body? No. I lost awareness of my body

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. I was more alert to my surroundings

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? While I was with my grandpa, who was dead. I felt like I knew I was dead but when I woke up, I didn't realize that I had died.

Were your thoughts speeded up? Faster than usual

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Time seemed to go faster or slower than usual. Time was slower on earth.

Were your senses More vivid than usual? More vivid than usual
