Experience Description

We had those old metal ice cube trays that make the giant cubes with the sharp edges. I made a glass of ice water and somehow one of those giant cubes went straight into my throat and blocked me from breathing. As I was choking and panicking, my life seemed to pass before my eyes going backwards. It was me watching me, like in a movie and one 'still' from that movie still stands out in my head, just a picture of myself at a very young age. I don't know why. Anyway something told me to get some very warm water and try to drink and the cube went down.

Did scenes from your past come back to you? My past flashed before me, out of my control It's been so many years. I only remember that it went backwards very fast and I saw so many things. I just remember thinking, 'Wow you really do see your life flash before your eyes.'
