Experience Description I was fixing a broken water trough. I was kneeling in a couple of inches of water. I had to bend my torso so my elbows were in the water. There was an electrical wire that wasn't isolated above the trough. It was mid-morning. My forehead touched the wire with my arms in the water. I felt like I was hit on the forehead with a bat. I then proceeded to live an entire life on another world. I was still me, but yet, I was a different person with a different name, and etc. I then died of old age in that life after spending a lifetime as this other person. After I died there, I woke up spread eagled on my back next to the trough. It was late afternoon. I would say I was unconscious for about 5 to 6 hours. Background Information: Gender: Male Date NDE Occurred: 2007 NDE Elements: At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? No. Electrocution Other: I was electrocuted and went unconsciousness How do you consider the content of your experience? Neither pleasant NOR distressing Did you feel separated from your body? No I clearly left my body and existed outside it How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? Normal consciousness and alertness. Normal At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? The whole time. Were your thoughts speeded up? No Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning. Time was different. Can't really explain it. I lived an entire lifetime somewhere else and have all the memories and lessons learned from it. Yet, I was only unconscious for about 5 hours. Were your senses More vivid than usual? No Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. I was unconscious but in the other life my vision was fine. Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. Normal Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere? No Did you pass into or through a tunnel? No Did you see any beings in your experience? No Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings? No Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? No Did you see an unearthly light? No Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? Some unfamiliar and strange place. It was strange because I was so confused when I got there. When I got there, I was coming out of being in some kind of accident and was resuscitated. I knew my wife and kids but felt confused as I had come from living a real life somewhere else other than my current one. Then when I died there, I came back to the same time; roughly when I got electrocuted here. What emotions did you feel during the experience? Confusion as I didn't know what reality was real. Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? No Did you have a feeling of joy? No Did you feel a sense of harmony or unity with the universe? No Did you suddenly seem to understand everything? No Did scenes from your past come back to you? No Did scenes from the future come to you? No Did you come to a border or point of no return? No God, Spiritual and Religion: What was your religion prior to your experience? Do not know. Agnostic Have your religious practices changed since your experience? No What is your religion now? Do not know. Agnostic Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience. Just lived in a society similar to Humanities. Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes A better understanding of God. Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? No Did you see deceased or religious spirits? No Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? No During your experience, did you gain information about premortal existence? No During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? No During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? No Concerning our Earthly lives other than Religion: During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? No During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life? No During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? Uncertain. I have no idea. It's like when you die you go live somewhere else as someone else but you're still you. Did you gain information about how to live our lives? No During your experience, did you gain information about life's difficulties, challenges and hardships? No During your experience, did you gain information about love? No What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Moderate changes in my life. I realized religion is lies. God is real but not comprehensible to us in the third dimension perspective. God is a force of love that somehow works together in the physics of the universe. I think consciousness is all linked. We are all a part of something larger that we cannot understand or explain. After the NDE: Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes It's hard to explain. When I was in the other life i remembered my real life as if it were a strange experience, not at all like a dream. I feel the same way now, coming back to this life. The other life happened and I have memories of it. How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience as accurately as other life events that occurred around the time of the experience. It was a long time ago, but I have memories of that life, the same as I have memories of my current life. But I have memories of being old and dying, raising kids, stuff I haven't yet done in this life. Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? No Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? No. Still just confused by it. Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes I didn't tell anyone about it for years as I didn't want to get in trouble for getting electrocuted on the job. Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real. I was confused and still am. The time dilation is what confuses me. I was only unconscious a few hours, yet have memories from a lifetime lived somewhere else. What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real. It was real at the time 100%. Now it seems like it wasn't real. But when I was there this life felt the same way. At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience? No Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience? No Are there any other questions that we could ask to help you communicate your experience? Good questions. jbud4xa_nde
