Experience Description

I was with a girlfriend of my age and two of my sisters, who were age 6 and 4 years old. We were sitting on a surrounding stonewall which had a height of approximately 4-5 meters (12-15 feet) at the back of the garden, and we were talking. The wall was old and not very strong anymore.

At one moment, I leaned my hand on a stone on the right side of the wall and the stone fell and took me along in its fall. I closed my eyes while falling and after this, I felt like it was a black hole. I didn't feel pain and all was black around me yet I could still think. I asked myself, ‘Am I dreaming?’ There was no sound around me, all was calm and I wasn't scared, I felt good. It was as if I was sleeping, but still aware of everything. Then I heard crying. I figured out that it was my little sisters who were crying but I didn't feel any sorrow.

Then I heard a voice that said, ‘You have to open your eyes, go on try.’ I could think and hear, but it was as if I couldn't control my body anymore, only my mind. All at once, I opened my eyes. I couldn't see well, everything looked fuzzy. I tried to get up but I lost my balance and fell back in a seated position. I felt something on my face and at that moment, I didn't know that it was my blood. I was told later that I had landed head first on the stone that fell with me.

Then the mother of my friend, having been informed about my accident, came via another path and brought me to the hospital. I got stitches on my head and my nose was broken. I also remember that at the moment when I was unconscious, it was as if I was floating in the air in a lying position. I felt good, at peace.

The duration of this seemed to last for hours, but I was told that I was unconscious for no more than ten minutes.

Did you see an unearthly light? Uncertain All was black around me, but not blackness like in the night. Not a blackness that raises fear, a pleasant blackness, peaceful.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? Some unfamiliar and strange place I was somewhere nobody had fear, a calm and restful place.
