Experience Description

During a suicide attempt, I jumped out of a moving car and landed head first on the ground.

Then, I was in another state of consciousness. God spoke to me and told me that he and the angels were real, they loved us, and they are a gift from him. God gave me the greatest hug I have ever had. After realizing that I had yanked myself out of my body, I went midair and saw my guardian angels on each side. They were about 8 feet 6 inches in height and the wings were about 5 to 6 feet across. They told me how many people I need to help back on earth and to look down at my body being looked at by paramedics. That's when I realized that the afterlife is real and God loves us. God told me before I go back to tell everyone that he loves them. It's that easy. Also, God said he is long suffering and will go to the end of the earth so we can be with him. I my angels told me that I would go back to earth and they were really happy that I chose to go back and do the work that was assigned to me.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

The experience included: Out of body experience

Did you feel separated from your body? Yes I saw the ambulances and police car lights and paramedics over my body. I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. It is hard to explain. All I can say is the feeling is like getting high and every emotion and the eyes are perfect. Everything I saw was more enhanced on the other side.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? When God spoke to me. I felt his love and power.

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning time does not exist

Were your senses More vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid

The experience included: Unearthly light

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? An unusually bright light

Did you see an Unearthly light? Yes it was more like a cloud of light

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? No

What emotions did you feel during the experience? I was scared to see my body getting looked at by so many people.

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? No

Did you feel a sense of harmony or unity with the universe? I felt united or one with the world

The experience included: Special knowledge or purpose

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything? Everything about myself or others. I realized that I had to help people on earth that didn't know of the spiritual side.

Did scenes from the future come to you? No

Did you come to a border or point of no return? I came to a definite conscious decision to return to life. My angels asked if I wanted to go back to earth or go into the cloud. I chose to go back to earth.

What importance did you place on your religious/spiritual life prior to your experience? Slightly important to me

What was your religion prior to your experience? Christian- Protestant I had several questions about the truth of this religion and God.

Have your religious practices changed since your experience? Yes, I really hate religion now. It divides too many people.

What importance do you place on your religious/spiritual life after your experience? Greatly important to me

What is your religion now? Unaffiliated- Nothing in particular- Religious unaffiliated. I am not fond of religion because it confuses the masses regarding which one is the right one. I found out during my NDE that love is the key.

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was entirely not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience. My opinion about religion totally changed from what I thought before. I realized that God loves everyone exactly how they are. Church had taught me differently.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes God loves us how we are. God is good, no matter what people think.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin. God and my angels spoke through mental telepathy

Did you see deceased or religious spirits? No

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? No

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes I am still unlocking spiritual gifts now: Gifts such as discernment of spirits, knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Also the gift of interpretation. One more gift is the ability to pick up peoples' thought patterns. I am grateful for all of these.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? God telling me that I am fine just how I am and he wants me to tell people that he loves them and are welcome.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes I barely told a few friends months ago about what happened and they were curious and had questions about the other side.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real. I was at peace after the experience.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real. When I saw my body on the floor, I knew afterlife was real

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience? Remember God is good only, no matter what you hear.
