Experience Description Shared from the ADCRF questionnaire: I had come down with what I thought was the flu. I had a fever when I went to bed. I was sweating a lot and fell asleep. Something woke me up. At the end of a tunnel there was an opening. There was a beautiful, soft white light at the end of the tunnel. I knew my aunt B was there. I couldn't see her exactly. She was blurry but she seemed to reach out to me. She said, 'You can come, honey, if you want to. It's easy.' A bird made of pure light flew through the tunnel and out through the opening into the light. Suddenly, I was jolted out of this vision. I knew I was dying. I dragged myself to the car and went to a friend's home to ask for help. My English friend took one look at me and said, 'Bloody hell woman, you have malaria!' She took me to the hospital.
