Experience Description

I had studied NDEs and also A Course in Miracles, so I know there is no death.

My experience happened six months ago during surgery. I have diabetes and hand an allergic reaction to the anesthesia.

Everything went dim while my vision and speech were blurring. I didn’t panic, but I gave up struggling and was calm. The only thought I had was of my younger son as he is extremely attached to me.

Suddenly, I was in a huge, cloudy gray tunnel.

There was a woman sitting on a table and three other persons. I recognized them as overworked souls who were receiving covid 19 patients who had passed to the other side. As I met each one of them we embraced each other. They were so happy while exclaiming thanks that I was back with them. I had forgotten all my worries and was so happy. I remember that with these soul beings, I had some serious misunderstandings on earth, but now all was understood as we laughed it off as trivial.

Then my sister, who is currently living in California, turn up on a scooter

At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? No. Drug or medication overdose. While under general anesthesia. Illness, trauma or other condition not considered life threatening

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

Did you feel separated from your body? No. I lost awareness of my body

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. I was entirely happy and much more alive than on earth.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? After I lost physical consciousness

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning. So much happened in just a few seconds

Were your senses More vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. I could feel and know my surroundings much better than merely seeing them.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. I could know all conversations. It was a more vivid experience than just hearing

Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere, as if by ESP? No

Did you pass into or through a tunnel? Yes I was in the brightly-lit tunnel, but I couldn’t see the source of the light because it was too far away.

Did you see any beings in your experience? I actually saw them

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings? Yes I saw my sister who is currently living in California.

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? A light clearly of mystical or other-worldly origin

Did you see an unearthly light? Yes The whole tunnel was brightly-lit.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? No

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Elation, extreme bliss

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did you have a feeling of joy? Incredible joy

Did you feel a sense of harmony or unity with the universe? I felt united or one with the world

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything? Everything about myself or others. I knew myself and all who were with me

Did scenes from your past come back to you? My past flashed before me, out of my control. I had all knowledge

Did scenes from the future come to you? No

Did you come to a border or point of no return? I came to a definite conscious decision to return to life. As I started to move towards the source of light in the tunnel. I heard the Doctor calling my name and was back in my body.

What was your religion prior to your experience? Hindu. It was a wonderful experience

Have your religious practices changed since your experience? Yes I am more inclined to study A Course In Miracles as it aligns so much with my experience

What is your religion now? Hindu. It was a wonderful experience.

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was entirely consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience. I was extremely happy and joyful.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes I am more inclined towards spiritual guidance.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin. There were three beings whom I recognized and all of us were happy to be together

Did you see deceased or religious spirits? I actually saw them

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? Yes I saw Indian Guru Shirdi Sai Baba in one experience

During your experience, did you gain information about premortal existence? Yes I was intensely aware of myself and all my previous lives

During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? No

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? Yes I knew that Gods existed and we were part and parcel of them

Concerning our Earthly lives other than Religion:

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? No

During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life? Yes That all sorrows or misunderstandings here (however deep) are just events we laugh at once we cross over

During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? An afterlife definitely exists. I knew that I was there before and earthly life was a drama or a dream, staged for learning wisdom

Did you gain information about how to live our lives? No

During your experience, did you gain information about life's difficulties, challenges and hardships? No

During your experience, did you gain information about love? Yes That Love is all that really matters

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life. I am more spiritual than religious

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? Yes I have become calmer in facing tough relationships

Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes I cannot describe the enormity of my experience in its totality

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes I can sense some presence sometimes

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? The fact that all sorrow and misunderstandings here are nothing and earthly life is a kind of joke and a learning experience

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes In WhatsApp and Facebook messenger with understanding friends

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? Yes I was calmer because of studying NDE experiences before this experience. As I lost consciousness, I didn’t panic but just let the experience happen.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real. Because I can re-experience it anytime. I’s so vivid

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real. I can recollect it as I experienced it, unlike dreams
