Experience Description

I was diving/snorkeling at Monastery Beach. I was standing in somewhat shallow water when the spear gun I was carrying went off. The spear went right through the front part of one of the flippers I was wearing. I fell down and my foot was pinned to the sea floor so I couldn't get up. The water was just deep enough to keep lapping over my face and I kept swallowing and breathing water as I struggled.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

The experience included: Out of body experience

Did you feel separated from your body? Yes I saw everything that was happening around me. I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal I saw the light and I felt a whole wavelength of universal flow.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? After drowning.

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning

Were your senses more vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid

Did you see an unearthly light? Yes The light is the light. I'm not sure if it isn't part of the Earth on some level. The Earth is part of the Universe, although it may not exist one day.
