Experience Description

I was on deployment during this time. It was about 130 degrees out that day in the desert, and I decided to meet a good friend and coworker for a get-together at the smoke pit outside and hang out and smoke some hookah. I had gotten there about 30 minutes early and had already been smoking for a while. There were others around in the pavilion hanging out. My friend finally arrived and we were talking and having a good time. I started to feel extremely nauseous and lightheaded and stood up to get some water. My friend offered to go get me some inside and took off to go grab some water. I decided to stand up and go as well, just to try and see if I could get the nausea to stop. I remember walking after him on the path.

Everything went white, and there was a high-pitched sound. I immediately got sucked upwards through a tunnel. It was almost like earth was under a microscope and I was being sucked upwards through a white tunnel. But I thought it was weird that I wasn't going forward into a tunnel, but backwards. Everything was white and quiet. I felt an extreme sense of peace that words cannot describe. I remember thinking that was odd because my heart was heavy on earth as I had just gone through a horrible breakup with my boyfriend, and was constantly stressed and depressed from deployment. I felt absolutely none of that here, and that was the most significant part of this whole thing. I felt incredible peace, and I felt like I was floating. There was no time, just comfort and white light. I vaguely remember hearing joyful voices of loved ones, although that was also strange as I had never met them on earth. I was told to go back.

I then remember hearing distance voices about my blood pressure and the emergent situation. But everything was still white at this point. I got pushed back through the tunnel and the scope came back down. I remember hearing the paramedics. I came back fully into my body in the emergency room. The pain hit me like a ton of bricks. My whole face was swollen, and I could not open my left eye, and that's where I fell on the edge of the concrete path when I collapsed from the heat stroke. I felt the pain in my face before I felt any other part of my body. It turns out that the other people in the pavilion that were there ended up being the paramedics who saw me collapse on the path by the pavilion. My friend heard them and turned around to help.

I am so grateful for this experience as now I know heaven is real.
