Experience Description

I was a victim of a robbery when I was 20 years old. I was injured by a firearm. That night they carried me out of emergency surgery. Eight days later, there were complications. That night I remember being in a tunnel and moving towards the light with every step. I felt so much peace, and had great pleasure to go forward. Some steps later, I was stopped because the people wouldn't let me enter. I remember them speaking to me. I don't remember anything except that they told me it wasn't my time. I would like to remember what else they said. When I woke again, my body had lost a large quantity of decomposed blood that hadn't gone through the drain.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel? Yes I going through the tunnel to get to a great light at the end of it.

Did you see any beings in your experience? No

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings? No

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? An unusually bright light

Did you see an unearthly light? Yes It was the brightest light I have ever seen but it didn't dazzle me.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? Some unfamiliar and strange place. A place of great light and deep Happiness.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? I felt deep peace and tranquility.

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did you have a feeling of joy? Incredible joy

Did you feel a sense of harmony or unity with the universe? I felt no longer in conflict with nature

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I heard a voice I could not identify. They spoke to me and told me why I could not to go to the light.

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? Yes The fact of being closer to the light gave me more peace and I wanted to be in it. To me this was paradise.

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes They spoke to me and told me three reasons why they wouldn't let me enter. I remember two of the reasons.
