Experience Description

When I was in grade 4, I had fever but my mom made me go to school anyway. On the third day of the fever, I wore a red jacket with a fur collar. It was my favorite jacket and made me feel better. Then I went to school. My friends questioned why I had come to school when I was sick. I didn't know how to answer that, so I walked away. I went to sit near the school, flag pole which was in the middle of a big field.

I sat down and was looking around. My vision started to get bright, like something flashed in my eyes and then it was suddenly dark. I thought I fell asleep, but I saw my own body sleeping next to the flag pole. I could see that I was flying. I came down to check on my body. I thought to myself, 'This is so much fun because I can fly!' So, I decided to explore the town.

I flew back home. On the way, I saw people going about their daily business. I saw my mom cooking and cleaning the house. I flew around my neighborhood some more. Then, I decided to go back to school. I flew back to the big field and I saw a bright light in the sky. On the other side of the light, it was very dark. The shape was unclear, but it looked like 2 centers of brightest and darkest portals. I was interested, but I didn't know which one I wanted to see first.

Then I heard a voice from the dark portal saying, 'Come follow me.' When I looked over, I saw a thing that looked like the dementor in the Harry Potter films. But the color of the dementor was both light and dark; is how I can best explain it. There was also another entity on the other side. Now I found myself between 2 entities and I was looking at both of them. I followed that thing which called me to follow. But then, I heard the other entity yell at me, 'No it's not your time yet, go back.' Then, I felt like I got pulled back and then slammed into my body. I woke up in a state of shock.
