I remember the day of the car accident. I felt so sad during the morning and I did not want to do anything or move from my room. I was not afraid, I was just very, very inexplicably sad, doing things slower than normal and wanting to cry for no reason. My husband came into the room and asked me what was going on. He tried to cheer me up and we decided to go shopping for food for the week. After this, we went home. In the car, I started feeling sad and afraid of something. I felt exalted and I tried to calm down. Suddenly, a black car appeared and I just remember the car was spinning and then a beautiful peace that I cannot describe with words. I did not remember anything. I was not aware of what happened. I did not remember anything at all. I just saw a light like the sun, so bright and clear. I saw this as if I was lying down looking at the sky, but it was not the sun for sure. How could I be looking at the sun without hurting my eyes? I heard children laughing, as if they were playing and having fun. But that peace, that peace was awesome. Suddenly, I started to feel fear, so much fear. I remember I opened my eyes. I could not see clearly, but saw how the doors of an ambulance were closed. I said ‘something happened’ and then lost consciousness due to the craneoencephalic trauma I had suffered. Many months after my accident my husband told me we were in the car all the time as the rescue team could not open the door of my side. I was covered in blood and I was not breathing. He said my eyes were wide open but ‘crystallized’ like a dead fish. He thought I was dead. After some minutes, I made a big sigh and started to breath, but I was still unconscious.
