Experience Description

I have experienced other worlds/realms for as long a I remember. As a child, as early as 1 year old, I could read peoples' energy. I had experiences of traveling in dreams and in waking states. When I told these experiences out to someone, I was laughed at. I felt judged as weird and humiliated. Consequently, I learned to not talk about my experiences. I found a way to manage what I felt and knew about through artistic expression. It was a great cover and I became very successful in later years professionally.

As a teen, I found a copy of Linda Goodman's Sun Signs. I read and re-read this over and over. Right from the first read, I knew there was so much more information out there than what I could understand from this book. I did not have access to much astrological material other then what was on the public library shelves. Eventually, I forgot about my interests as I got on with life.

I re-entered the world of astrology around 2017. At first my interest was in making correlations and trying to understanding my life. I studied as a pastime and followed astrologer styles that resonated with me. Soon, I began using this accumulated knowledge to read charts for my friends and family. It all came so easy for me, but was just treated as a novelty by the people I read for.

I then met someone in 2018 who would be considered a catalyst for my spiritual awakening. A metaphysical entanglement sent me down a path of unimaginable experiences that were expansive and soul-crushing all at the same time. I had unknowingly tapped into a pure source energy.

I woke up, about 12:30am, on March 19, 2020. I felt something was wrong physically; but I also sensed a presence with me. I knew to completely surrender to that. I had no concept of thought or decision-making. In an effortless flow, as if gliding, I pulled on a jacket, picked up my car keys and drove myself to the emergency room at the hospital. Again, I felt I was completely without thought. I was somewhere between and out of body state, and yet, fully conscious of my movements. It was the first week of Covid lock down in my city. When I arrived at the hospital, the entrance was encased in white tents and three people in full hazmat gear approached me. Along with the sense of being out of body, and the very real presence of a guide moving me, this was truly a surreal, visual experience. I was asked what I needed help with. I held out my wallet with ID and said, 'I'm going down.' I died, right there at the entrance.

I was given compressions and an injection. I remained flat-lined for about 4 minutes. I had suffered an LAD heart attack. A stent was implanted, and when I regained consciousness at 8:06am, it was the start of the Vernal Equinox.

During the experience, I found myself led by my guide in a space of whiteness. It was all light, but not what others describe as a bright white. I felt an indescribable calmness, an absence of all fear or confusion, and a deep sense of relief. It was as if this I were on the threshold of nothing and everything all at once. There were no objects, only the essence of my guide that was alongside me. I stood there. Through thought communication that was not quite telepathic because there were multiple energetic beings communicating at the same time. I knew they were there to receive my choice, my decision to return to my body or remain here.

During my recovery, I was fascinated by the depth of this restful sleep I experienced. It was as if I had slept for a thousand years. I felt content and calm, with a sense of amusement at the knowing what is was like to transition out of this life. I don't believe my next experience will be the same. In retrospect, I feel I was in an emotionally purging crisis with my soul. I was so stressed and confused, alone and lost with what was happening to me. I was temporarily pulled out of my body, and then rescued and rebooted. I also believe much more happened in the altered state before I regained consciousness. It's something I'd like to explore one day.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

Did you feel separated from your body? No. I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. Without the fear of sounding crazy, I believe that higher consciousness is now integrated within me. I can tap into it at any time.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? I believe the whole experience was at a higher level of consciousness. Until I fell into clinical death, I was completely alert, but surrendered to a guide or perhaps higher-self that was leading me.

Were your thoughts speeded up? No

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning. Time existed outside of or on another level outside of real time

Were your senses More vivid than usual? No

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. I didn't really have visions. It was more of an innate sense of being

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. I often have ringing in the ears. I do remember sounds when I was immediately being attended to in the hospital. I heard hospital sounds, people moving very quickly, and a conversation with a nurse that I don't see how it could possibly have taken place realistically.

Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere? No

Did you pass into or through a tunnel? No

Did you see any beings in your experience? No

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings? No

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? No

Did you see an unearthly light? Uncertain. It was very white; somewhat like fluorescent, instead of a bright, white light

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? A clearly mystical or unearthly realm. I was brought to a place that I'd describe as a threshold

What emotions did you feel during the experience? I felt safe, calm and a bit in amazement at what was happening

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did you have a feeling of joy? Happiness

Did you feel a sense of harmony or unity with the universe? I felt no longer in conflict with nature

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything? Everything about the universe. I understood what was happening to me. There was no concept of anything else. I was just there, existing in the experience.

Did you come to a border or point of no return? I came to a definite conscious decision to return to life. I was brought to a place of 'witnesses' so that they could hear my decision

What was your religion prior to your experience? Other or several faiths Other- I had a spiritual awakening, and began exploring the esoterica 3 years before the event

Have your religious practices changed since your experience? Yes I would say they are more grounded and strengthened

What is your religion now? Other or several faiths I am not personally involved in any organized religions, but I understand the benefits and needs for those who participate

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was entirely consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience. It was actually confirmation of everything I had believed existed from my earliest memories but could never express them.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Uncertain. Not changes in my beliefs, but confirmation of them

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin. There was a Guide with me throughout the entire experience. I was guided to a place where there were energetic Beings who communicated directly through thought. It was not quite telepathic though, and not at all visible. Yet, I knew they were above me and to the left.

Did you see deceased or religious spirits? No

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? No

During your experience, did you gain information about premortal existence? No

During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? Yes My whole experience was proof of an eternal connection to universal oneness

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? Yes Not the awareness of a Being or God, but the energetic source of all creation

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Uncertain. I know I came back for some reason

During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life? Uncertain I believe more happened that I've yet to remember. I returned with enhanced gifts and makes me aware of that.

During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? Uncertain. I arrived at a place to declare my decision to 'return.' I was fully aware that in not returning, I would be entering into a beyond and back to a source.

Did you gain information about how to live our lives? No

During your experience, did you gain information about life's difficulties, challenges and hardships? Uncertain. I was brought to this place to make a decision. I chose to return, with the knowing that it would be much easier not to return

During your experience, did you gain information about love? Uncertain. An awareness that the foundation of everything is love. This includes aAll good, all bad, all light, and all dark. Love is neutral, and contains all of everything. It is how we approach a situation, what we bring into it, or our perception or our reflection as a human that distracts or distorts it into something else.

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Moderate changes in my life. I felt more connected to my soul

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? I no longer participate in relationships that are not resonate with my energy. I release them in peace and love, of course.

After the NDE:

Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes The difficulty is in finding someone who can understand without judgement

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience as accurately as other life events that occurred around the time of the experience.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes An enhancement of my gifts. In these years that have followed, I have dedicated myself fully to creating a business of what I call 'Soul Map Navigating.' I picked up my studies in astrology, starting from where I left off. I found that I had an innate sense of reading charts that just came naturally. My knowledge was so far beyond were I left off. I opened up to paying clients, and from the first reading realized I was now channeling these energies. I was tapped into an unobstructed delivery system of messages. My capabilities went from easily learning through studies, to access of knowledge and wisdom that just flows from far beyond what I've ever been taught. Every experience I've had with a client is quite moving, many times there are tears of relief. It is truly a gift that I truly believe was reclaimed from having my NDE. But the best gift is that these people find me, I help them tap into their own energetic paths and potentials, and I no longer have to hide.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? I always think back to the calmness I felt during the experience and the restfulness after the experience

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes I don't share often, and almost all that I do share with can't quite understand.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? Yes I only new it existed from stories I had heard of people who experienced it.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real. I was gifted this experience to bring confirmation back to this reality

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real. I have never wavered from any thought of this experience

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience? Yes Not reproduced, but I always felt and sometimes experienced other dimensions/realms
