Experience Description

I was playing indoor soccer with a group of my and my wife's soccer friends. My wife, Kathleen, was present and remembers the details. I have no recall from one hour prior to the event, until 5 days later in the hospital

Here is what my wife remembers:

We were playing indoor soccer. After approximately 30 minutes, we all decided to take a break and hydrate. Hank seemed to be in good health, but he suddenly fell face first to the ground. He was not breathing, had no heartbeat or pulse, and was unconscious. Three people immediately teamed up and began CPR for 15 minutes until the Medic One paramedics arrived. They applied the paddles and shocked his heart four times without reviving him. They said, 'We're frying his brain and we cannot bring him back.' I remember the sound of them closing and latching the equipment cases up. During all this time, the group of players gathered behind me were praying. When the paramedic declared we can not save him and began to pack up, I still had my hand on my husband's thigh. I began saying silently to God, 'I don't believe that You are in agreement with these men and it isn't Hank's time yet. I will not bargain with You and say 'if you let him come back', I will promise this and that to You, I feel God that you are just not in agreement with the paramedics.' God said to me, 'You are right. It is not Hank's time and I have plans for you. It will be difficult for you. What I have in mind will take many years and a great amount of obedience and patience from you. You cannot quit.'

Then I heard the paramedic give a deep groan; almost a birthing pain utterance. He started to unlatch his equipment and defibrillation machine. He said, 'Mam, take your hand off his thigh so I can defib him.' My head was down and eyes closed, I moved my hand. An energy shaped as a bright white dove, rushed from behind my closed eyes, through my chest, and out my hand and into Hank. The paramedic squealed and with disbelief said, 'We got him, we got him!' Hank had been non-responsive, 'flat lined, no vitals' for about another 30 minutes.

This was truly a miracle from God and to Him, we give all the glory and honor. The paramedics went up to the Critical Care Unit. They had to see Hank and witness the severe, burn marks from the paddles to actually believe that they played a part of this amazing miracle. I know it was the Holy Spirit flowing through me to Hank and that high vibration and frequency from our Heavenly Father was the spark he needed.

What was your religion prior to your experience? Christian- Catholic I was raised in the Catholic faith. We never spoke about out of body experiences.

Have your religious practices changed since your experience? Yes. I read the bible now and believe totally in Jesus Christ.

What is your religion now? Christian- Other Christian; Non-denominational. I currently do not belong to any one church. I have been part of different biblically based prayer groups over the years.

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience. I have no recollection.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes I had severe anoxia for several years following the experience.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? No

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life. Death has no grip on me. Jesus Chris died for me and I will have eternal life.

Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes I have no memory of this experience.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I do not know how my remembrance of the experience compares to my remembrance of other life events that occurred around the time of the experience. No recollection. Suffered severe anoxia that disabled me for 23 years.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? No

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? NO

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes My wife and several friends and relatives.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely not real. I do not recall the incident.
