I had been hemorrhaging due to a contraceptive (which soon after was pulled off the market). As my gynecologist had told me not to worry about the bleeding, I stayed home even though I was bleeding so severely that I was lying on a plastic sheet with several bath towels under me. Finally, the second night, when I went to the bathroom, I felt myself passing out and called my husband for help. My voice sounded very week and I thought he would never wake up in time.I apparently fell to the floor. Immediately I was in a realm of such unbelievable beauty. There were all the colors of the rainbow and astounding music (I later thought of it, as a difference of such magnitude as exists between rap and Mozart and Mozart to this music. I was completely surrounded by absolute love and bliss. Then, I became aware that my husband was calling me as if from a great distance and slapping my face, which I could not feel. An inner voice said I had a choice whether I wanted to go back to earthly life and my small daughter and my husband or to 'stay.' (At this time I felt, that I was going back through a sort of tunnel.) Obviously, I chose the latter. I then was rushed to the hospital, but I knew that I was not in danger anymore.
