Experience Description

I attempted suicide on 11-19-2017 by cutting the jugular vein. I bled to death.

I was lying on a stretcher when my mind and body left this world. I was lifted up into some sort of digital atmosphere. It was as if I were traveling on a specific path with very elaborate digital characteristics shooting at me from every direction. As this progressed, any pain and/or unhappiness seemed to disappear. I noticed that all the pain I have been in my whole life was completely gone. I was completely serene. The peace was so intense that it was all I could think about. I have been searching for peace and happiness all my life and have never found it until now. I enjoyed being in this state the whole time. I did not want to leave. I started to feel a power beyond imagination. This power was like it was the power of the entire universe. I did not possess the power but the power was felt all around me. It was like some sort of movement. The strength of this power was immense. I could also feel that this power was from millions or trillions of other possible people. It just seemed as if everyone each contributed their own power and it was all added up together to create this ultimate power. This power was real. Towards the end of my experience, I felt that something was threatening the power of all these people. It seems they were all working together to fight something, that I do not know. All that I know is that this was very real. This power was threatened from something out of this world. I do believe they were gearing up for something to happen soon. I was then thrown down onto a stainless steel operating table and woke up.

At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? Yes Other: Suicide Attempt where I cut my jugular vein.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

Did you feel separated from your body? No I lost awareness of my body

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. I was just more alert. I was in such joy and without pain. I never felt that way before.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? Shortly after I first entered this realm.

Were your thoughts speeded up? No

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning. Time did not matter really. Towards the end of the experience I did feel a sense of urgency that the movement or power was preparing for something soon. Almost like they were preparing to go to battle.

Were your senses More vivid than usual? More vivid than usual

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. My vision was fine. No real difference in vision.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. Hearing was same as usual.

Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere, as if by ESP? Yes, but the facts have not been checked out

Did you pass into or through a tunnel? Uncertain. Not really a tunnel but very similar. It was a cross between a rollercoaster, train, tunnel and maze.

Did you see any beings in your experience? I sensed their presence

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings? No

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? No

Did you see an unearthly light? No

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? A clearly mystical or unearthly realm.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Complete ease, freedom, serenity and peace. In the end I felt that something bad could happen later.

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did you have a feeling of joy? Incredible joy

Did you feel a sense of harmony or unity with the universe? I felt united or one with the world

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything? Everything about myself or others. I felt at ease. It seemed everyone had their own little job. They were all in perfect harmony. No one was angry. Everyone just did their job. I did not have a job back I wasn't there long enough yet.

Did scenes from your past come back to you? No

Did scenes from the future come to you? Scenes from the world's future. A possible showdown seemed to be coming.

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? No

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin It was more of a sense of energy. I felt the power of this energy. I did not hear any voices just felt the intense power.

Did you see deceased or religious spirits? I sensed their presence

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? Uncertain Again, There was this unworldly power.

During your experience, did you gain information about premortal existence? No

During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? Yes A power of oneness does exist. The unworldly power.

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? Yes The power and intense energy was out of this world.

Concerning our Earthly lives other than Religion:

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes Just that I saw what I saw and felt what I felt. The power. The people. The movement. and The possible battle to come.

During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life? No

During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? An afterlife definitely exists Yes If I did die then I was on my way to this place. I do believe that.

Did you gain information about how to live our lives? No

During your experience, did you gain information about life's difficulties, challenges and hardships? Uncertain Only that earthly pain and suffering was non-existant.

During your experience, did you gain information about love? Yes Love seemed to be everywhere.

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life I have seemed to have woke up and am now more alert.

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? Yes My life is completely different.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? The whole experience was wonderful. I am concerned about the upcoming battle that seems to be on the horizon.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes Only to a couple of very close people. Not in this much detal.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real It was real.

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience? I feel very lucky to have had the experience even though I should have died from my suicide attempt.
