Experience Description

I have health problems due to diabetes and lost feeling in my feet. Consequently, when a spike went through my shoe, I didn't feel the pain in my foot. When I realised that I had an infection in my foot, I went to the doctor. They left me in the hospital for a few days. During this time, they decided to do surgery so I would have feeling in my foot. It was an operation without much risk. They took me to the operating room and gave me general anesthesia.

When I was under, I went for a moment to another world without realising I was taken to another place. This world had many colors, and everything was so bright. I was able to see myself from every angle. I saw there were many tunnels in different colors. They were like interdimensional doors to other places. Everything was surrounded with colors, or more accurately surrounded by colors that were like stained-glass windows. Everything was very beautiful.

I chose to go into one of the tunnels. In an instant, it took me to somewhere. It carried me so quickly that I felt it was in the blink of an eye. Where I went to, there was a unique type of giant temple that was so big that the people looked like ants. I could see someone in the distance, but I didn't know who it was or the memory has been erased.

All of a sudden, I was back in the operating room and a nurse was asking me if I was O.K.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

Did you feel separated from your body? I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. I could see things differently and I felt really good.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? All the time, I felt awake and conscious.

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning. Everything happened instantly.

Were your senses More vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. I could see in 360 degrees.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. I don't remember anything that I heard, it was as if they had rubbed my memory.

Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere, as if by ESP? No

Did you pass into or through a tunnel? Yes I went through a tunnel. I know because I saw it, although I can't remember travelling through the tunnel.

Did you see any beings in your experience? No

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings? No

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? No

Did you see an unearthly light? Yes I saw the light of the tunnels.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? Some unfamiliar and strange place. It was a great Temple.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Surprised but familiar.

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin. I saw Him, but I don't remember talking to Him.

Did you see deceased or religious spirits? No

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? Uncertain. I am uncertain, but I saw Him, and don't remember anything out loud.

During your experience, did you gain information about premortal existence? No

During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? Yes When I was among the tunnels, I could see that this place was connected to everywhere.

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? No

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes I felt that I had already been or knew this place.

During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life? No

During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? An afterlife definitely exists. The experience was just visual.

Did you gain information about how to live our lives? No

During your experience, did you gain information about life's difficulties, challenges and hardships? No

During your experience, did you gain information about love? No

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? No changes in my life. I feel that many of the things that I have seen, I already knew. It's as if time doesn't exist.

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? No

Was the experience difficult to express in words? No

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience as accurately as other life events that occurred around the time of the experience. They are very clear and vivid.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes In my mind, I can see things happening before they happen.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? The experience of arriving at the temple, because I know that this place is like the temple where they adore God.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real. I remembered everything very clearly, although I tried to remember what I heard and I am unable to.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real. That I had to go to this place, that I wanted to go to this place, and that I chose to go to this place.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience? Yes Very often I feel that I am listening to the words of someone, although I am not able to remember them.
