Experience Description

I was 16 and with my boyfriend. We were both about to fix. I knew that I was about to inject a few cc's more than what I had been doing, but all I could think about was how much higher I would get. After injecting, I remember suddenly feeling like I needed to take a nap and l lay down on the bed.

I then became aware of being surrounded by a bright white light. I found myself standing on one side of a canyon that stretched out as far as I could see, to the right and to the left of me. Looking down, as far down as I could see, it was all pitch black. I noticed that the source of the light seemed to be on the other side of the canyon. It seemed so close, and yet there was no way for me to get to it. I began to panic. I wanted so badly to be one with the light. Then I saw the palm of a hand – the hand was so huge! I could see it coming towards me to the point where the light shone through the webbing of His fingers. I heard a voice, a man's voice, strong and gentle, say the words 'Not yet'.

I opened my eyes and was drifting in and out of consciousness. My friend was giving me CPR. I remember laughing when he said I had been dead for 5 minutes and had been turning blue. I remember this NDE so vividly! I am convinced that it was Jesus who pushed me back. I believe that the canyon I could not get around was hell.
