During sleep, I experienced a dream of feeling entirely encircled within a warm embrace, beyond anything possible on this earth. I did not want it to stop. I saw my father and some people behind him, who I think were my sister and grandmother. All had passed over. A voice I didn't recognize said, 'If you want to go back, blow'. I guess I decided to go back, so I went to blow but to do so, I had to draw breath first (to be able to blow). I suppose this is when I started to breathe again. The unconditional love in that embrace stayed with me for many weeks after. I don't feel it so much now. I just remember it was amazing and wonderful.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I heard a voice I could not identify [as detailed in above narrative] I remember, before this incident, the words 'You can go if you want to, but it will be hard' and I responded 'Yes, I want to go'. Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? No
During your experience, did you gain information about premortal existence? Yes I remember during my life hearing the words spoken "You can go if you want to but it will be hard" and I replied "Yes, I want to go" As I read NDE's I realize we may exist before we are born here. I have always felt I was born into wrong family, like I

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? No changes in my life Perhaps I misbehaved in prior lives. I am a moral, honest, quiet, supportive soul, a mother of five, who has experienced much suffering in this life. I offer all suffering for souls. Some days I regret saying 'yes' [to be born into this earth life] but this universe is such an incredible creation: the way it all fits together so perfectly. We make the suffering, not God.
Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? No No I was searching for a reason. I went to psychics, new age areas, explored meditation, did angel study. I finally found religion and have come home. I can't say that there was a dramatic change due to my near-death experience. After the NDE:
Was the experience difficult to express in words? No I have only begun to mention it recently.
How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I do not know how my remembrance of the experience compares to my remembrance of other life events at time
Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? No
Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? I did not think much about it at the time, but recently, as I've been reading about near-death experiences, I've realized that I've experienced oneàalthough mine is not as colorful or as exciting as others.
Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes Years ago, I shared it. There were no reactions; no-one was influenced,
Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? Uncertain During my lifetime, once in a while, I would read or hear about near-death experience but did not pay much attention, or give much thought, to it. I didn't know anyone personally who'd experienced near-death experience.
What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real I felt the unconditional love in that embrace for weeks afterwards, every time I brought the incident to mind. The feeling has faded but I remember; it was the best ever.
What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real After reading about many near-death experiences, I realize that what happened to me that night was a near-death experience. Sleep apnea seems like a lightweight way to get into one, compared to the other people's accidents and operations. I am not overweight any longer and sleep better.
At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience? No
Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience? I wish it had been as exciting as some of those I read about, and that I would feel 'altered for the better' like others seem to experience after coming back. My experience seems 'flat' compared to most others I read.
During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime? Yes I remember during my life hearing the words spoken, 'You can go if you want to, but it will be hard' and I replied 'Yes, I want to go'. As I read near-death experiences, I realize we may exist before we are born here on earth. I have always felt I was born into the wrong family, like I don't belong here.
