Experience Description

The tunnel was green or light yellow. It was Palm Sunday. I had to go through palm leaves that I had to go through. This was slowly opening from a bigger opening entrance that was gently or slowly peeled open. There was a spiral tunnel getting narrower toward the end.

The first spirit to greet me was a Jewish co-worker, married to a Catholic wife, who had just passed a few months ago. Then I was looking for my parents and grandparents and was able to communicate with them briefly. I saw the spirit of my roommate in the hospital next to me who was dying. He was physically gurgling with secretions on a do not resuscitate list. There was no gender or religion out there.

The communication with the afterworld, people whom had passed, is all in spirit; no faces but I knew they were communicating with me. I communicate with them while moving along an immense background of dark space. All of a sudden, I was pulled back into a tunnel of very bright light, almost sunny in character; with a lot of floaters (rocks and other debris) on the way back into my body. I felt very peaceful and pleasant, physically smiling afterwards. I thanked God for the experience.

At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? Uncertain Illness Life threatening event, but not clinical death I had a total blackout and was brought by ambulance to hospital. I then experienced the NDE at the hospital probably a few days from admission through emergency room.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? Less consciousness and alertness than normal

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? Coming back through a bright tunnel and realizing I was on a hospital bed.

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Everyone that has passed through earth will end up going to the other side.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes Life is very precious. Live every single minute in a good productive way for yourself and hopefully for other people.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience This experience is so detailed I will never forget it ever and will be an indeligible part of my existence. Whether I should share it to everyone I'm not sure. I have shared it to my family and whoever listens but I think it's not for everyone. I know i' m not afraid of death but will live my life to the fullest that is allowed of me.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes With my family and friends and whoever listens during and right after my hospitalization. Some were okay and accept what I went through and some were freaked out.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real Because I experienced it myself.
