Experience Description

I felt an immense universal love and peace in me. I felt like I was on a cloud, but also in the cloud and I was the cloud. I was filled with a happiness that is not known on this earth. Then my deceased grandmother took my hand to reassure me. Don't ask how I know it, as communication was intuitive and not verbal. I knew that they made me come back because my 7 year old son had to experience an 'important' future, and it is my mission to be with him. I also needed to 'elevate' myself spiritually for my next lives.

At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? Yes Suicide attempt. Life threatening event, but not clinical death. Drug overdose.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

Did you feel separated from your body? No. I lost awareness of my body

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. I had no doubt. I was like a feeling of peace and universal love, now installed in my DNA. It's more real than our reality on earth.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? I was very lucid during the experience. On waking up, I understood that it was anchored at the very bottom of my being and soul. It took me about 2 years before I understood that this was an NDE

Were your thoughts speeded up? No

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Time seemed to go faster or slower than usual. Time slightly slowed.

Were your senses More vivid than usual? More vivid than usual

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. Tired of life at that moment. I understood that up there was my refuge, my home.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. No noise nor talking, so I cannot compare. I have hyperesthesia since my NDE. [a condition that involves an abnormal increase in sensitivity to stimuli of the senses]

Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere, as if by ESP? No

Did you see any beings in your experience? I sensed their presence

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? An unusually bright light

Did you see an Unearthly light? Yes I was bathing in this light and was also floating like in a cloud.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? Some unfamiliar and strange place. A cloud in a the middle of nowhere.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Peace and love never equaled in this world down here.

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

What importance did you place on your religious/spiritual life prior to your experience? Slightly important to me

What was your religion prior to your experience? Christian- Catholic

Have your religious practices changed since your experience? Yes I'm meditating and eating healthy since my experience. I try to change all those bad habits progressively, and the toxins that are keeping me from listening to my celestial body.

What importance do you place on your religious/spiritual life after your experience? Greatly important to me

What is your religion now? Christian- Mormon. I believe in reincarnation, metaphysics etc.

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience. I was not sure about Life after death. Now I KNOW; no doubts anymore. No fears of death anymore either.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes I don't want to work anymore and want to take time for my son and meditation. I slightly fear poverty, but a roof, food and a minimum are sufficient for me.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin The hand of my grandmother took mine and reassured me.

During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? Yes The angels.

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? Yes The angel of my grandmother, so yes, I believe in protecting entities, and spiritual guides, like Jesus and the prophets are in fact loving spiritual guides.

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes To live, so that my son can elevate himself intellectually and spiritually.

Was the experience difficult to express in words? No

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience as accurately as other life events that occurred around the time of the experience. Same precision, but not the same intensity felt.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Uncertain A more developed 6th sense + hyperesthesia and hypersensitivity. The negative energy of others is draining me. I have to live in solitary to be happy.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? A second chance to allow my child to grow up without to much problems.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes About 2 years and now I only choose connected people in my surroundings, who can understand me.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? Yes Through TV, but like ufologists, I thought this was delusional. And no, it took me 2 years to realize that I had also experienced one.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was probably real Anchored in my deeper self, almost like in the DNA... maybe to elevate even faster in my next life, and to realize everything earlier in order to advance better.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real Now when I see the similar testimonies I feel less alone. Apparently we are 60 million in the world.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience? No

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience? My son has a more karma than usual. This I was told by a well known magnetizer, and even if I'm not directing him towards metaphysics but to general knowledge, I know that what I was told by the angels is true. Every day is proving it little by little. One day I will know the 'why' I'm still here. But there is something exceptional, even though I cannot yet identify his life's path.
