Experience Description:

I became dizzy and collapsed outside on the front porch. I can remember floating up into a tube-like area with a very bright light at the end. Everything was turning around much like a tornado as I elevated up toward the light. I was soooo relaxed and very comfortable, more than I had ever felt before, and did not want to be disturbed as I could hear my Father's voice trying to bring me around - I just wanted to keep going.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Wonderful

Did you feel separated from your body? Yes I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? Yes, I could hear everything but it was muffled, as if I was in some sort of barrier.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? I think I was alert throughout the entire episode.

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening all at once Described above.

Were your senses more vivid than usual? More so than usual

What emotions did you feel during the experience? I was very happy and content and felt sooo relaxed.

Was the experience difficult to express in words? No

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes I have an ability to sense trouble. I used to read tarot cards for my co-workers it was so uncanny that I stopped. The more I did it the better I got. They were asking me to their house to do readings on a regular basis. It became so draining I had to stop. I no longer do this, but I still can sense events with good accuracy.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? The whole experience was special.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes I don't remember. I think I told some friends. Most of the time I kept it to myself until I was older and in my twenties.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real I didn't give it much thought as to whether it was real or not. I knew it was real.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real I cannot explain - I have had these experiences twice after. Twice when I was in my thirties. None since.
