Experience Description

All of a sudden, I was on a shuttle. There was a guy next to me who was dressed in all black, with a white face and big black eyes. It was not a scary mask, but it was similar to the art called the 'Scream' mask. I looked over at him and he said, 'Don’t worry. Tina and Jay will be okay.' I asked, 'Excuse me?'. He said, 'Your brother and sister will be fine.'

Then I was in an enclosed courtyard that had writing on it, but I couldn’t read what it said. There were a bunch of people in the air, 6 feet apart. An Asian man said, 'OK, you’re going to go one by one up to your next place.' People started to go and I asked, 'What next place? I’m going home.' He repeated, 'You’re going to your next place.' I said, 'I’m not ready to go to the next place. I’m going home.' He was insistent. I became upset and told him, 'I’m going home!' He looked at me and said, 'Ok, send her back.'

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes Four days later. I was still intubated, so I used an ABC chart to spell out what I called a 'Wild Story'. My friends and family were shocked and also relieved to hear that I was all there, mentally based on how I responded to the man.
