Experience Description

I was approximately 15 years old at the time of the event. My best friend and I convinced her mother to let us sleep outside on the back patio that night. It was summer, so it was warm outside. We set up our sleeping bags and pillows, ready for when we returned from a party at the neighbors across the street from her house. Most of the people there were older. I probably shouldn't have been there.

However, I had always associated with older people when I was young, not realizing why. today I know it's because as I have been told by complete strangers, I am an old soul. I am trusted by complete strangers; and they feel they can trust me with their most inner secrets and always have since this time.

We took drugs that night, most likely more than my tiny 95 lb body could absorb. We made it to our sleeping bags.

The only thing I can remember after that, was feeling like I was ascending towards the sky while looking at my body in that sleeping bag. I didn't feel any pain; just a peace I had never felt in my life. I remember how beautiful the night sky was and how close the stars were. It was as if I could reach out and touch them. All at once, I felt like I was being enveloped or held by something much larger than myself. I turned my head to looked up and back. I could see these beautiful, white angel wings. I felt completely safe and loved by this Being. Again, I was looking at my body on the ground in that sleeping bag as it got smaller and smaller.

I don't remember much after that. I woke up in that sleeping bag the next morning. Everything was as though this event never happened. It wasn't until many years later, that it came to me as I was driving past that house where my experience happened.

I was in awe of the fact that my first job was at my elementary school where I hadn't stepped foot in for over 40 years at the time. This was just one of the many times these types of events would happen. I have been put in places in my life to get messages to people from loved ones beyond the grave. I have dozens of true life events that can not be explained as any other than paranormal. I get signs from the ascended masters and angels daily. I am connected to the spiritual realm and I need to get these events shared with others so they too can realize they loved ones are just beyond the veil and they will be reunited when it's they're time to go home.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

Did you feel separated from your body? No I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. I felt like I was weightless.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? When I was ascending

Were your thoughts speeded up? No

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning. I had no perception of time that I recall.

Were your senses More vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. In comparison everything here on earth is dull. Everything where I was going, including the angel, was so bright and beautiful beyond words.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. I don't remember hearing anything, it was completely peaceful.

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings? No

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? A light clearly of mystical or other-worldly origin

Did you see an unearthly light? Yes The night sky was absolutely incredible, the colors were indescribable.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? A clearly mystical or unearthly realm I feel as though I was in the spiritual realm.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Complete peace and serenity

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did you have a feeling of joy? Incredible joy

Did you feel a sense of harmony or unity with the universe? I felt united or one with the world

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything? No I felt I was given a chance to come back and share my gift and have had a sense of knowing ever since the event.

Did you come to a border or point of no return? I came to a definite conscious decision to return to life. I don't consciously remember making the decision, but knew I had to return.

What was your religion prior to your experience? Christian- Other Christian I was saved when I was approximately 12 at a Christian camp I attended.

Have your religious practices changed since your experience? Yes I have become more spiritual than religious.

What is your religion now? Christian- Other Christian I am spiritually connected to the ascended masters, Jesus and the Divine.

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was entirely consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience. I believed in God at the time or so I thought I did, at the age of 12 I don't believe you really know what that means, however after this event I felt I belonged to God. I knew after this I would see God one day and be reunited with my loved ones.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes This life is just a lesson in my journey. I value the lessons and try to enjoy every second the journey! I believe we all have the right to believe what we choose to believe, we all have our own private journey and it's between us and the divine only, others shouldn't try to tell us how or what to believe.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin I was being lifted up into the spiritual realm by an Angel, it was massive and so absolutely beautiful and it's wings were huge.

Did you see deceased or religious spirits? No

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? No

During your experience, did you gain information about premortal existence? Uncertain I have felt that I have been here before after the event and have nit feared death since this event.

During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? Uncertain I have a spiritual connection to those in the spirit realm or the afterlife.

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? No

Concerning our Earthly lives other than Religion:

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes I was given many gifts and one was a knowing, I don't know from where it comes but it comes to me almost instantly at tomes and at other times it can come later.

During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life? Uncertain I've experienced an all knowing, like it doesn't matter who I'm talking to or the subject matter, I always have an answer to the questions being asked.

During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? No

Did you gain information about how to live our lives? Yes That we must not look outside ourselves for Happiness, we must find Happiness within ourselves. We cannot make anyone happy as they have to seek Happiness within themselves, until we can perfect this we will always struggle with relationships.

During your experience, did you gain information about life’s difficulties, challenges and hardships? No

During your experience, did you gain information about love? Yes That we have to learn to love ourselves unconditionally before we can love others unconditionally.

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life. I have had people tell me I'm an old soul after talking to me, others say I have such a dear heart or how much they loved our conversation. I've had others say I'm clairvoyant. I have a deeper understanding, connection and knowing of life and the universe as a whole. I have a hard time with close relationships because they are not meaningful to me, I lose my sense of self around others so therefore I've spent alot of time alone. I love being alone, I can sit alone in silence for hours, I get over stimulated around other people and have to back away or retreat to a place of solace. I have few friends because people seem so shallow to me, I don't care as much about the things of this earth, I care more about what's beyond this earth and this life.

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? Yes I don't have many lasting friendships and my relationships with family are strained

After the NDE:

Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes I wasn't able to share this with anyone for fear of being told I was crazy or making it up.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience I don't recall anything that happened that night other than the ascension into the spiritual realm.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes Clairaudiance and clairvoyance.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? No

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definately not real I completely blocked it out of my memory for years for fear that others would tell me I was crazy.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real If I hadn't remembered after driving past the place where it happened I would not have believed it happened, I was put in that place like many others for a reason.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience? Yes My connection to my Angels is very strong and very real.
