Experience Description I was at the youth festival concert. I wasn't sure what the point of life was, but I wasn't feeling depressed. In fact, I had a cold. I had just left the stuffy, concert venue. I stood on a balance board and then fell off, hitting the ground. It was painful. I was scared, as the fall had happened unexpectedly and quickly. Then, I felt sick and sat down on the curb. I told my friend that I was about to faint. He didn't believe me and thought I was joking. As I lost consciousness, I fell; hitting my neck and arm. I started seeing rapid hallucinations. My mind seemed to slow down. It was as if two minutes without consciousness felt like five seconds. At first, I heard a mix of chorus sounds that came from far away. It seemed that the voice of the choir was in my head, and the music was far away. The sound was far from me. While I was unconscious, I heard it the music quite loudly. I heard several minutes of singing in a couple of seconds. I was terrified. Despite being confused, I could understand where I was, and the location of objects around me. I knew where the voices were coming from, and knew that the people were behind a venue wall. I could still hear choir voices inside my head. Then, I saw darkness and began to realize that I might be dying. I saw a strange sphere that looked like a glass ball or an optical distortion; similar to an ultra-wide-angle fish-eye lens. There were objects inside the sphere. Or rather, there were moments from the current reality. They looked like spots, inside which there were images of the surroundings around me. These included lantern garlands, spruce, a man with a festival merch hood, whose face I could not see. There was also a road with puddles, and several other objects that I didn't have time to examine. I could see these images and instantly approached. It was as if I saw flashes of moments from reality. It is difficult to describe exactly how this happened, since I moved away and approached each image if I wanted to examine it further. I didn't physically moved to the objects, just overviewed them. While I was moving away from and approaching each image, I figured out it was an environment surrounding me. I realized that I hadn't achieved everything I wanted yet on this earth. So, I made a choice to return to my current reality. After coming back, I felt shaken and afraid of fainting again. The nurse had me inhale some ammonia and I started to feel a little better. I continued to shake. It was late, and I went to the camp building to sleep. After returning, I started to think more and more that our world may not be real. I thought that it could be just one of many worlds, or that we could be living in a simulation. I have not been able to discover what lies on the other side. After this experience, I realized that death is not something to be afraid of.
