Experience Description

I was hopping a train and my legs were about to be cut off via catching them on the wheel. I was so frightened, that my life flashed before my eyes in a life review.

Within two seconds, my full life played before me and I felt as though I comprehended it all. I could not understand how I could do this and have pondered this ever since my experience. I’ve also had a few other God encounters: healing 1979; dreams: both dream occurred on back to back nights in October 1984 that led to personal salvation the following day.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. It was separate from my actual surrounding

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? At the highest point of fear

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning. I observed my entire life in two seconds and felt as though I took it all in and I understood the relevance of all that I saw.

Were your senses More vivid than usual? No

Did scenes from your past come back to you? My past flashed before me, out of my control. I saw what I perceived as my whole past life in two seconds and understood it all.
