I had been to the dentist with my wife for the extraction of my wisdom tooth. Before the extraction, I was injected with an anesthetic. The surgery was a little painful but totally bearable, but while returning home the pain became more acute and unbearable. When I just entered the door of my house, I barely had time to sit down. I woke up realizing that my house was full of people and two nurses placed me on a stretcher to take me to the emergency room. I said, 'Why we are going to the hospital? I'm fine but I was even better in the place I've just been'. After a while, I realized my body was completely motionless but my mind, sight and hearing were active. It was very hard for me to recover my body functions. I was told later that I had a heart attack. This is the experience I had. I found myself sitting in the middle of a very big soft black velvet semicircular sofa. In front of me, there was a big screen as though I was going to watch a movie. On the screen, I saw a dark mountain. Behind the mountain, a blinding light forced me to keep looking down toward the foot of the mountain. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw around me, both to the right and the left. I saw the shadows of people who seemed to me to be dead relatives and friends, but since it was dark, I could not see to distinguish their faces. On their heads shone a weak flame. Their presence kept me company and I sent them security and love. Soft music could be heard in the environment and there was the scent of orange blossoms in the air. I was so happy and I was waiting for something special that the return to life denied me.
