Experience Description

I am afraid of needles and blood and as a result can get dizzy or faint. That time was very different. I was counting numbers in order to relax and suddenly I felt the needle. Without me thinking about it the numbers were going by faster, I disappeared. I did not feel my body.

Everything was black with colored spheres turning, and what sounded like music (although this I don't remember too well). I felt vibrations. I am not sure whether the music was there or whether I was imagining it. I felt very well. The truth is that I did not ask myself what I was doing there. Suddenly I felt a strange pain and a headache. I had woken up and the doctors where giving me air. I asked how long I had been unconscious and they said approximately six seconds but it felt to me like it was much longer. The experience felt both long and short in duration. It was a very strange feeling. I would have liked to have stayed there longer. I felt a distorted sense of time when I woke up.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? I am not sure that I was conscious. I could speak to myself but said nothing. Inside I felt as though many voices were speaking to me but it did not bother me.

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning I was unconscious for six seconds but it felt like much longer, although at the same time it happened very quickly.

Did you see any beings in your experience? I actually saw them

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Not everything was good like many people say. I did not feel well, but at the same time, nothing hurt. At the same time, I felt peaceful. I did not know why I was there nor did I care.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes With my mother, she couldn't believe it. I did not give it much importance.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was probably real I am sure that it was real, perhaps my brain created those images. Does that mean it's not real?

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was probably real I found myself in that place so I am sure that my brain created that image so I lived it like a reality or is there something beyond death.

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience? I stopped liking music as much as I used to. It's strange but since then I rarely listen to music.
