Experience Description

After a fall from a horse, I come to, but I was up high in the corner of the emergency room. I am quite shocked to see myself lying on my stomach. Then I was in front of my grandfather, who passed the year before. I feel good and I want to stay. But my grandfather tells me that I have to return and that everything will be okay. We were bathed in a kind of green halo. My grandfather is sitting on his tomb. I don't feel my body anymore. I refuse to go. It seems that time stopped. Then I wake up in my hospital bed. This experience is difficult to put into words.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? Some unfamiliar and strange place I knew this cemetery but the light made it seem strange, but not scary.

I got the certainty that the loved being was not disappearing totally from our life and that he knew what would become of my life.

Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes I have the impression that everything I felt was something that I do not know, even the usage of speech was different.

I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience. Just before this, I got a vacation job of which I remember very few things; it's vague, while that experience is as if it happened yesterday.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes It's as if I could anticipate death. Yes, I have a low educational level; nevertheless, I studied the work of Claude Levi Strauss as well as the one of Freud.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes It took me 20 years before I talked about it to my best friend and to nobody else, she thinks that this saved my life!!!

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real It was real.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real More so today, as I have the certainty that my grandfather is there, the more that I saw him 5 months ago this was equally real.
