Experience Description

I was choking on a piece of candy I was given. It was early morning. Everyone had been asleep. I woke my family up choking. No one knew what to do. No one could help. I passed out on the floor in the kitchen, my family around me. Suddenly I was looking down at my body. I felt so peaceful. No fear just peace. Suddenly I was in my body again. I sat up coughed and the candy dislodged.

Did you see any beings in your experience? I actually saw them

What is your religion now? Liberal 'pagan, to many considered weird experiences to be anything else!!'

Was the experience difficult to express in words? No

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes I have had so many unusual experiences. I have sensed and seen spirits. Have intuitive abilities. It opened up a doorway for me. I never knew how or why until I realized and remembered this incident from my childhood.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? Seeing my body as I floated above it is a big thing for a kid. But I knew not to tell anyone.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes Last year I told a friend about my near death experience. She too is a believer and was just happy I remembered why I have this gift.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real. I knew it was real. I do not know why I have always been so calm about the experience. I just was.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real. I know now after years of listening and being involved in paranormal stuff, my experience was normal.
