Experience Description

I remember hearing my wife shouting, 'Stay with me!' She was screaming so loud that it hurt in my head; and then her voice was gone.

It was dark, not black. Then I noticed warm light from above and around me. The light became brighter, blue and sunshine. Then I noticed I sat on a bed. Above was a ceiling light and I could see the blue sky and sunshine coming through. I felt very comfortable. I let myself fall backwards and felt relieved, saying, 'Thank Goodness!' It was as if I just woke up from a stupid dream.

I forgot about my earthly life. It was as it I woke up and couldn't remember my dream no matter how hard I tried. I checked my hands. Faintly, I recalled that I was dreaming and something was wrong with my hands. But then I knew I was just dreaming, and the dream was nothing but a dream. I was happy. I could move my hands and my body felt so healthy. I also noticed that I was somehow younger, like in my 20's and I was taller. I knew my wife was in a room next to this bedroom. She was doing some of our laundry. I knew I had a bad dream and took a deep breath. All of a sudden I hear that voice banging in my head and it really hurt. I said to myself, 'Oh no, that can't be for real. No!' Everything turned dark and then I woke up.

The Medic said, 'We thought we lost you.' I didn't understand what happened. I only knew they were pushing me out in the ambulance and into the hospital. My wife later told me that I was gone for 15 or more minutes. But what I experienced was about 10 seconds. I knew that I was on the other side and my wife was already there and here all at the same time. I was there and here also. I was so angry that they pulled me back here. I could have punched that guy. I didn't want to come back. I was so happy on the other side. I knew we were happy. My wife and I. And they bring me back. But I knew I couldn’t let my wife be alone here. But she was already on the other side. It didn't make any sense.

My wife has died several months later of thrombosis. Two days after she died, I was staring out the window. In the evening, there was such a bright light very far in the distance; as if someone were sitting in my living room and shining a car headlight directly into my face. The light came from where there is never light in the evenings. I researched and found out that deceased can make themself visible to relatives with light.

Weeks later, something happened. In my kitchen, I saw a funnel on the corner bench near the door. We don't have dogs anymore, but all of a sudden I heard something drop in the kitchen. The sound was 2 meters from the corner bench. Ever since then, I talk to my wife. I can't see her but I believe it must be her. Sometimes when I doze off, I get the feeling my wife sits on the sofa. It feels so real. I cry every time. But I don't tell to others, otherwise they lock me up in the looney bin.
