			Being pulled under the water I don't know if my eyes were open or not. But I saw nothing. Not blackness or whiteness, just a lack of anything.

			6. Speed really has nothing to do with it. My thoughts are conceptual, translated down into language (normally). During my experience, my conceptual thoughts were more - deeper, broader, more expansive, more complete.
			7. Again, this is inaccurate language for me. Not necessarily more vivid, but more closely connected to each other (taste IS touch IS visual IS sound etc). Also richer, which is a form of 'vivid' but not how I would describe it.
			8. So this question has been answered in my comments about question 7, to some extent. I would say that I was able to ‘see’ anywhere I put my attention, my focus. I didn't ‘look at this’ or ‘look at that’ - all senses were involved in (or the same as) seeing

I will answer it as I understand it and hopefully by word context you may understand why this is a confusing question. I consider my what I saw during my NDE a vision for lack of a better word. I do not have visions during the day. I may be influenced by that ACISTE site where visions have a particular meaning. However, I will never forget the experience to the extent I remember it. It was vivid and clear and unforgettable. The only time I ever remember anything that clearly was if it were exceptional such as watching a car crash or having a baby but overtime those stories become what I call the ""Big Fish"" stories. Humans tend to embellish or memories fade or bad memories seem better. My experience/vision has not deviated in fact or memory. My husband of nearly 25 years tells me that it is the only ""story"" I have ever told him that never changes. I do not think he believes me although he says he does. He won't let me speak of it in public and he is tired of hearing about it. OH...I am as blind as a bat without my glasses and I did not have my glasses on and I could see the Operation when I slightly turned my head but did not connect the dots to that was me...and I could see my grandfather very clearly. I never thought about that before this question.

I do remeber the doctors sitting me up on the side of the table (this is when they put a drain in sac aroung my heart to drain the blood): and someone profusely rubbing on my chest and someone doing the same on my back. My veins had already modeled and they were trying to drain the blood from my sac and massage my body. I saw them put 3 tubes down my throat. They looked black to me at the time but, upon waking in my room they were the typical opaque white tubes.

My vision prior to the experience was what I'd call normal in that I'd open my eyes and my brain would process what I saw. During my experience I closed my eyes after the first shot, but I still could see very well. I had no trouble seeing myself leaning on the retaining wall, or the light that encircled me. My vision went from the outside to the inside.
