After the life review, I heard my grandmother saying prayers over me, so I also said my prayers, 'Dear lord Jesus if you let me raise my kids I will work for you the rest of my life, in your son's name Jesus Christ amen.' I remember sitting on my bed saying my prayers "Dear lord Jesus, who wants a one-armed carpenter that can't read and write that good." Then an angel came to me and told me that I will be a boss. Angels never lie, and I have worked on 30 projects so far. And each time I say my prayers they are always answered.

The Chaplain for Hospice, held a prayer service for me at a Lutheran church and invited other nurses as well. I know they came because a book was given to me later where the people who attended this prayer service had signed in and wrote notes of encouragement to me. All the members of my ward congregation were asked to fast and pray for me all on the same day. My parents, in Utah, who were temple workers, a temple for the Mormon church, had my name written on the prayer list of names prayed for by those attending the temple that day for all the temples in the western United States that day. Prayer is a tangible force, a power for good here on this earth! Many people ask me what was the 1st thing I thought or felt when I came out of my coma, about 3 weeks after the accident. What I felt, was the incredible feeling of power by being thought of by many and them praying for my recovery to God. I could feel his love and compassion for me, and I believe this communication led to my incredible experience with Christ in that heavenly garden.

I also testify that God is, he loves us and is aware and mindful of even the smallest things in our lives and on this earth. The gift of agency the ability to act according to our own desires and associate one with another in the sphere of his creations is awesome. I pray that we might thank him for our very existence here and treat one another and his creations with the respect and kindness due them.

he said that he'd had seven women form my church have almost identical experiences; six women from other different churches also. After THAT, I went to a prayer meeting one night, and got in a wonderful prayer group. These women could really pray! When we were done, they paused and looked at me. 'You know, Alexa,' you look different!' I said I'd had an Experience. They looked at me and all of them smiled. It was THEM' they'd found each other; they'd found ME! It was glorious.

What I know it meant was that, if I went with that light, I'd be taken from this Earth. I cried inside and asked God to please spare me and give me a second chance at life. I knew the choice wasn't my own...which is why I prayed to the Lord to please give me another chance. That I promised to go back to Himm...to take him back into my heart. To do things right this time. The point is, that experience has changed my life forever. I'm so grateful for it, but I'm sorry and disappointed that it took that -- something so extreme -- to make me wake up.

On the way to the operating room, after having an injection to settle down, I ask for a Pastor, but was rejected. But anyway, I have made up my mind that if I die, so be it. "In Your Hands I leave my Life" addressed to the Lord. On the operating table, nurses told me to count 1-10. On the count of 5, instead I started the prayer "Our Father". Did not finish it, because I was drawn to the black and somewhat greasy tunnel.
