Cherie B's NDE1/22/16I was rushed to the hospital. It was almost sixteen months after I had completed chemotherapy for a diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and only 10 months after being declared free of any signs of the cancer. I had symptoms of shortness of breath for several weeks and medical and health practitioners were unable to determine the cause. My husband rushed me off to the emergency room after contacting my cardiologist who planned to meet us in the emergency room. Remarkable experience.
Jill Bolte Taylor's NDE1/15/16Neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor had an opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a massive stroke. As it happened -- as she felt her brain functions slip away one by one, speech, movement, understanding -- she studied and remembered every moment.
This is a powerful story about how our brains define us and connect us to the world and to one another.
Nadia McCaffrey's NDE12/31/15 by Anthony Chene and Alan Hugenot"Nadia McCaffrey recounts her near-death experiences, from her out-of-body experiences to her encounter with Light beings. She also describes her psychic communications with the other side. By delivering a poignant message of unconditional love and compassion, and acceptance of death as part of the big cycle of Life, she contributes to raising the consciousness on the planet."
Rabbi Rami Levy & 15 year Old Natan with English subtitles11/24/15 Contributed by Cathy K.This boy's experience has all the common components of the NDE which is noted in all cultures. I don't know if you are aware of the following, but it's important to know as a background :
1) Orthodox Jews, such as those seen in this video, do not believe in 'Near Death Experiences'. For them, the death of the body results in oblivion and the deceased human is only resurrected at the, "last trump on the day of Judgement", 'when the land and sea will give up their dead'. Therefore, it is all the more interesting that this Orthodox Rabbi in this Jerusalem synagogue is taking the boy's story so seriously that he gets him to speak in the synagogue. Despite what seems, to me, to be the almost 'grooming' of the boy to tell of his experience, there are many signs in the boys' demeanour & speech patterns that he is telling the truth and is remembering things he should include in his narrative and trying, but failing, to stick to a chronological sequence (almost impossible as we know), and, 2) Orthodox Jews are still awaiting Messhiac, the Messiah, and do not acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah. However a few years ago a leading Jewish Mystic Sage & Scholar died, over 100 years of age, and left a note to be opened a year after his death. When his sons open this note, (he had several sons, also advanced in age & also Rabbis), they found that the message he left said that the Messiah was Yeshuha (Jesus) and he could be expected in the near future - and after the death of Ariel Sharon.

During the coma, he was pronounced dead two times. He came back from that, and has an incredible story to tell about what he experienced. Untimely Departure by Sonia BerkallahNDERF has a wonderful partnership with S17.TV which is a French WebTV all about NDE. The studio is set up like a news room and is the next big movement towards getting the word out about NDE. Sonia is also the organization behind the European NDE conferences. I urge people to visit her website and support her world changing efforts.
She has also released her documentary movie 'Untimely Departure' in English and in French.
Anita Moorjani's Experience"The Hong Kong oncologist said he would do whatever he could, but prepared my husband that I would most likely not make it, as my organs were no longer functioning. They started me on a chemotherapy drip as well as oxygen. Then they started to take tests to determine what drugs to use. Then I actually “crossed over” to another dimension. I was engulfed in a total feeling of love. I also experienced extreme clarity of why I had the cancer, why I had come into this life in the first place, what role everyone in my family played in my life in the grand scheme of things, and how life works in general." Anita is a good friend of the NDERF
Another great resource has been compiled by Bob GoodeThe playlist cotains over 150 videos about near death experiences. "A hundred different people tell how they "died" (temporarily) and were then revived. They tell us the similar, amazing, wonderful things that happened to them while they were dead! The hundred short videos in this playlist will cause YOU to believe that your life will continue after death--IF YOU WATCH ENOUGH OF THEM! Belief in life after death is not supported by science and is not obvious to a thinking person. We have not discovered any other life in the universe. The vast blackness of space appears cold and forbidding. We grow old and helpless as life slips from our grasp, but these NDEs give us REAL EVIDENCE that our lives will go on. After watching all of these, I have lost my fear of death and gained confidence that life after death is real and wonderful!"

What Near-Death Experiences Teach Uscontributed by NewHeaven NewEarthThe mission of NewHeavenNewEarth (NHNE) is to answer humankind's oldest, most perplexing questions: Who are we? Why are we here? Where are we headed? What is the origin and purpose of life? Instead of relying on ancient or contemporary wisdom, or the knowledge of isolated experts, we are building a global network of seekers from all walks of life, from all parts of the world, lay people and professionals alike, that can pool talents, experience, and resources to unravel life's great mysteries. We also believe that our planet is passing through a time of profound change and are seeking to create a global community of like-minded people that can safely pass through whatever changes may come our way and help give birth to a new way of life on our planet.

Bill Vandenbush's NDE storyBill lives in the Seattle area. He wrote "If Morning Never Comes" about his experience. Bill is an acquaintance of mine and has spoken to our IANDS group. Bill talks about his book "If Morning Never Comes"
If Morning Never Comesby Bill VandenBush, Old 101 Press, 13680 North Sandhill Drive, North Platte, NE 69101 (2003).Summary on the inside page, "A soldier's story of his near-death experience in Vietnam and the insights and lessons learned from his excursion into a dimension of enlightenment."
One day about a year and a half ago, I met Bill in person. I was astounded by the warmth in his handshake and the spirit in his eyes. For a moment, time stopped; so I could truly appreciate what a gift Bill was to the human race. Spirit told him to speak, to tell the story. Remarkably, despite having no vocal chords, Bill does tell his story. Since that time, he's had a big fan - me.
I attended a talk that Bill gave at Seattle IANDS yesterday and got his book. Today, I read the whole thing - it is that captivating! This is a book of human triumph, every bit as much as it is a triumph of the spirit. This book is for people who have been physically broken, spit upon, and emotionally tortured. This is a book of courage, patriotism, and honor; A warrior's tale if there ever was one. It speaks of the difficulties of re-integrating with life in the U.S. from the perspective of a Vietnam veteran who went in as a naive boy of 18 years old and came home as a man a year later.
I agree with Shannon Anderson when she writes on the back of the book, "Bill is a living breathing miracle. His compelling life story serves to illuminate the path between merely existing within the awareness of life's impermanence and a consciously chosen, awakened life, centered on the journey home to his truest self."
And . . . don't forget to mention the near-death experience, which is the other aspect of integrating the reality of what he saw on the other side of life with our waking reality on earth. Spirit walks with him daily and he isn't just saying that in the book. You can tell when you talk with him that he's the genuine article. I would heartily recommend this book to everyone, as it hits a very human chord common in all of us. Juliet N's NDE1/17/04"The best way I can describe the transition from being 'alive' on the physical plane and the passage to the Other Side is like passing from one 'room' to another. You do not cease to be or lose consciousness; your consciousness simply shifts from one vantage point to another. The experience changes; your outlook changes; your feelings change. And the feelings I experienced were profound. For me, it most certainly became that peace that surpasses all understanding... My transition was gradual as a result of having a terminal disease -as opposed to a sudden one incurred from accidents, heart attacks, etc. I became aware of a 'Being of Light' enveloping me." The experience can be listened to an Audio Account or as a Narrated Slideshow The files are 5 MB (.wma) and 18 MB (.wmv), respectively.
Wow! Reader's and Listeners will really enjoy this one!
Diane G's NDE10/13/02"Suddenly, we burst into the light and a whole new reality was revealed to me, similar to the physical world, but, in this higher vibration, more colorful, more beautiful, more amazing. I saw plants, trees, mountains, lakes, animals, and shimmering crystal-like buildings, some very large and ornate. I saw beings moving about, light beings, going about their daily lives. They don't have physical bodies, but they are distinct fields of energy. They don't walk, they float. They have lives much like ours, but without the struggles and sorrows. They are artists, musicians, dancers, singers, inventors, builders, healers, creators of magical things... things they will manifest in their next lifetime in the physical universe."
